Race Brook Lodge is a magical rustic retreat destination at the foot of the Taconic Range in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts. We have 35 guest rooms, a 60-seat restaurant, several dynamic event spaces and an organic farm on the property. We host overnight guests, as well as group workshops, retreats, weddings, live music and dance events, yoga retreats, corporate gatherings and more.
We are looking for a visionary chef to collaborate on an expanded food and beverage program at Race Brook Lodge, and oversee the development of culinary offerings to accompany an increased focus on wellness activities and environmental sustainability. This is a great opportunity for a chef who wants to make a mark and be a part of an exciting new hospitality project. The position includes daily dining at The Stagecoach Tavern restaurant, catering for groups and banquets of all shapes and sizes. This position would also be directly involved in the growth of agricultural operations on the property, as well as educational programming, including workshops and culinary internships.
