THE BERKSHIRES’ RUSTIC RESORT

Race Brook Lodge is closed as of December 1st 2025. We will be hosting pop-up culinary events, live music and other gatherings from time to time in 2026. You can find more information on our events page. In the meantime, the historic Stagecoach Tavern is available to rent for private parties and meetings. The Race Mountain House and The Coach House are available for short-term bookings. Some guest rooms at the lodge are available for monthly rentals.

We are also seeking new stewards to care for the property into the future.

Race Brook Lodge is a magical rustic destination at the foot of the Taconic Range in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts. We have 29 unique guest rooms, a private Race Mountain Villa, the Trailhead Berkshires restaurant, a stunning exposed-beam barn, dynamic event spaces, a swimming pool, a sauna, and an organic farm. Enjoy hiking trails right here on the land with access to sublime forest spaces, waterfalls, mountain tops, and the Appalachian Trail.
