This is a quieter time at Race Brook than what you may remember. We closed our regular hotel and restaurant operations in December 2025. The restaurant is closed and we are not serving breakfast, but rooms are available, as well as the firepits, hammocks, sauna, pool (until Sept 30th) and trails up to Race Brook Falls.

WORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOU BOOK
- No breakfast, and no regular food or beverage service
- The Stagecoach Tavern opens only for occasional pop-up dinners
- The team is small and we are often away from the property. Plan on a self-directed stay.
- Dogs are welcome in most rooms, $20 per pet per day.
THIS FALL
Beyond what is listed below, events keep happening here through the fall: pop-up dinners at the Stagecoach, music in the Down County Social Club, gatherings in the Barn. Most of it comes together with little notice. If something is on while you are here, we will tell you when we confirm your dates.
UPCOMING
Vieux Farka Touré — Thursday, November 5, Event Barn. The Malian guitarist returns to Race Brook. Doors at 6, Vieux on stage at 8:30. All ages, 175 tickets. Tickets go on sale Monday, September 8. Details and tickets
October weekends. Private groups have parts of the property in early and late October. Rooms are still available around them, but there is less of the lodge to go around on those dates. Ask us and we will tell you exactly what is open.
