THE Coach house
The Coach House at Race Brook Lodge is a stately early-19th-century Federal-style manor at the base of Mt Race and the Taconic Range in the Southern Berkshire hills, which has been a place of lodging for two centuries. There is on-site trail access from the property up to Race Brook Falls that continues up to meet the Appalachian trail, with connections to the top of Mt Race, Gilder Pond, and other great secluded destinations. The Stagecoach Tavern is closed for regular service and opens only for occasional pop-up dinners. The pool is open to guests through September 30.
Amenities include air conditioning, central heating, towels, bed sheets, soap, hair dryer, hangers, shampoo, toilet paper, and iron. There is a laptop-friendly table or desk and a comfortable chair to work in, with continuous wifi access. There is free parking on premises, private entrances, a kitchen space where guests can cook their own meals, and of course, access to the pool.
