Our 31-room, family run historic inn, located in in the heart of the picturesque Berkshires, offers winding brooks, waterfalls, breathtaking views and a tranquil, relaxing ambiance for a truly magical wedding experience, plus a diverse staff who welcomes all cultural and gender identities.
During Peak Season (May- October), weekend rates are $5,500. Our off peak weekend rate is $3,500. This includes exclusive use of our barn, porch, pool area, DCSC after hour club, and ceremony location. Use of space begins at 3 p.m. on Friday and concludes at 11 a.m. on Sunday (or 11am on Monday if it’s a holiday weekend)
Sunday afternoon weddings are available during all non-holiday weekends for a $2,500 site fee during peak season and $1,500 during off peak season. Sunday receptions begin at 3 p.m.
There is a $10,000 Food & Beverage minimum for all wedding events.
We can host events for more than 200 people. Our barn can comfortably host up to 60 people as a combined space for a seated dinner and a dance floor. Parties with more than 60 guests must rent a tent for the seated dinner. In this scenario, the barn is utilized for the bar, lounge and dancing. The barn can also serve as the rain location for the ceremony, when not being set up and utilized for the seated dinner.

We offer seasonal farm-to-table catering prepared by our chef at the Stagecoach Tavern, as well as several hosted bar options.
All inclusive food and beverage packages start at $148 per person.
Our Signature Buffet Package starts at $120 per person and includes two stationary Hors D'oeuvres, one salad, two sides and two entree selections. We have two-, three- and four-course plated meal service and that start at $130 per person.

Hosted Bar Packages start at $28 per person for beer & house wine and range up to $40 per person for our premium full bar, inclusive of Berkshire Mountain Distillery spirits and mixers. If you prefer to offer a cash bar, we can arrange for that too. There is a $500 cash bar set-up fee.
Our Catering Packages include use of:
- 8’ rectangular banquet tables
- white resin ceremony and reception chairs
- white or ivory linens
- a standard place setting (plates, silverware, glasses)
- Service staff and clean up
Our Hosted Bar Packages include use of:
- our antique bar
- set up and breakdown of bar area
Our peak weekend (May-October) lodging packages start at $7,390 per night. This includes all 31 guest rooms and breakfast for 62 guests. A two-night minimum is required for all non-holiday weekends. A three-night minimum is required for most holiday weekends. We can host up to 79 people at an additional cost of $25 per adult and $10 per child, per night and we have pet-friendly room options available for a $20 fee per night.
Check in time is at 3 p.m. on Friday and check out time is at 11 a.m. on Sunday (or 11am on Monday during Holiday Weekends)

Does the Site Fee include lodging?
No. The site fee allows you to use our venue for your event(s). The fee covers the rental cost for the barn, porch, pool area, ceremony site and DCSC after hours club.
What does the Site Fee include?
Our standard weekend site fee Includes 44 hours of exclusive use of our barn, porch, pool area, DCSC after hour club, and ceremony location. The site rental starts at 3 p.m. on Friday and concludes at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The fee also includes standard set up of ceremony chairs, banquet tables, linens, chairs and place settings. DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Yes. To secure your wedding date, we require a 30% deposit on the site fee and the food & beverage estimate..

my brother is a home brewer, Are we allowed to bring in our own ALCOHOL?
No. Per our liquor license, all alcohol must be purchased through our distributor. No outside alcohol is allowed. The only place outside alcohol is allowed is in the privacy of your private guest room.
Do I have to rent all of the rooms in the lodge?
Yes. Our weekend weddings require that you rent out all 31 guest rooms. This creates a very intimate weekend experience for your group and also prevents the possibility of outside guests interrupting your group experience (and vice versa). For our Sunday weddings, we require the couple to book a block of 10 rooms.
How many many people can the lodge accommodate?
We have 31 guest rooms and can accommodate up to 79 guests. Our pricing is based on double occupancy, thus our standard group booking is for 62 people. For a fee, 10 additional guests can be accommodated.
Where is Race Mountain House and how many guests can sleep there?
Race Mountain House is located adjacent to the property. From the reception area of the lodge, it’s approximately a 10 minutes walk. It has its own driveway and can also be reached by car. The home has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 15 guests. Our standard pricing is based on 10 guests. For a fee, 5 additional guests can be accommodated.

How many people can your barn events host?
We can accommodate upwards of 300 guests. Our barn can comfortably seat up to 60 people for a combined use of the space for your seat- ed dinner and dance floor. If it is a dinner only event, we can host 75 people inside of the barn. For dinner and dancing parties with more than 60 guests, you must rent a tent for the seated dinner.
Do you have tables and chairs that we can use?
Yes. With our standard catering packages, we provide 8’ banquet tables and white resin chairs. We also provide white linens and standard place settings inclusive of plates, silver- ware and glassware. If you would like to order customized decor, like farm tables, etc, we have a list or vendors that specialize in custom tent, table, chair, linen and general decor rentals.
What time can our band/DJ play until?
Amplified music in the barn must conclude by 11 p.m.
Do you have an after party venue on site?
Yes. The Down County Social Club, under the tavern, is an underground speakeasy style venue. We host after parties there and you are welcome to have live music on until 1:30a.
DO YOU OFFER ON SITE PLANNING?
No. We offer event coordination. Our event coordinator will provide you with several planning tools to support your event planning process. We are here to help with any questions you might have during your planning process and we are also happy to suggest best practices, related specifically to the rental and use of our unique property. We will happily organize any details pertaining to the rental of the space and the catering services that we provide. Additional support with planning, while available, will be billed at an hourly rate. We do suggest working with a professional wedding planner to help custom create your design aesthetic, manage your guest list, set up the event décor and orchestrate all of the elements that tie the theme of your wedding weekend together.
