AN ALMOST SPRING WEEKENDER
It’s almost Spring.
You need to dance. Be outside. Stand around a fire or soak in a sauna. Climb a mountain peak. Jump in a waterfall.
Join us at Race Brook Lodge in the Berkshires for all or part of this thing. Their magical compound is part Dream Away Lodge, part Hundred Acre Woods — we’re so excited to collaborate with them on a weekend’s worth of dance-forward musical offerings.
On Friday we welcome Orchestra Gold in the BarnSpace, a west coast African psych rock group featuring Mariam Diakite (Mali) on vocals, followed by a late night set of international dance music in the Down County Social Club. On Saturday afternoon, Garth Stevenson takes us on a hike up the mountain and a concert in the woods. And on Saturday night, we kick off with a set from post-genre keyboardist BIGYUKI (Tribe Called Quest, Kamasi Washington, Jose James) followed by DJ sets from Nickodemus and Deejay Theory.
Weekend tickets are now sold out, but you can purchase individual tickets ($20 each) separately for Orchestra Gold/Busquelo on Friday, $25 Garth Stevenson on Saturday afternoon, and $20 for BIGYUKI/Nickodemus/Deejay Theory on Saturday night.
