BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served on the Pine Grove Porch Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings 8-10am during our off-peak season of November-April. Before 8am or anytime on Mondays when we are not serving breakfast, guests can help themselves to coffee and tea in the Lodge Lounge.
Sometimes breakfast will be served as a complimentary buffet but sually we serve an a la carte breakfast menu with eggs from our own chickens and other local ingredients, including locally roasted Six Depot Coffee and Berkshire Mountain Bakery Bread. Info is always updated on our breakfast page. We also now serve fancy coffee beverages like Café Lattes and Cappuccinos!
FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Stagecoach Tavern serves dinner Wednesday-Sunday, and opens for brunch on Saturday & Sunday! The Stagecoach has a diverse menu of classic tavern fair and healthy alternatives. Click here to reserve a table. Race Brook guests can also enjoy food from the Tavern in the Lodge Lounge or get take out to your room. If you would like to order beverages or snacks when the tavern is closed, just text us at 413.666.1933, or order directly from your phone with this link.
The Horseshoe Bar returning guests might remember our honor bar from pre-Covid times. We have discontinued the help-yourself bar, however we are happy to bring drinks and snacks for you to the Horseshoe Bar in the Lodge Lounge, your room or any other location on the property. Mumbet’s Freedom Farm
Mumbet's Freedom Farm is a Black and Brown-led cooperative farm and community sanctuary. Their mission: cultivate joy, connection, and liberation through land stewardship, sustainable farming, and programming.
HIKING / FOREST BATHING
There is an extensive network of trails on the hillside above the lodge, around Race Brook Falls and connecting to the Appalachian Trail and beyond… all directly accessible from your room! Check the hiking map below, and download it to your phone! Let us know if you have any questions about the trails or if you would like to schedule a guided hike.
SAUNA
Our Sauna was made possible by the generosity of our guests. We are very happy to offer this rejuvenating therapeutic and immune-boosting amenity. A one hour private session is $20. Just send us a text if you would like to reserve a time. Please bring towels from your room.

We have a private trail that goes right along the south side of the brook and connects the lodge to the Race Brook Trail and the Appalachian Trail. The Race Brook Falls is a short but steep hike from the lodge, and it’s about 1.5 hours to the Appalachian Trail. From there you can go left to the top of Mt Race which has a beautiful 360-degree view, or go right to Mt Everett, the 2nd tallest mountain in Massachusetts, or visit pristine Guilder Pond.
GIFTS & SNACKS
We have an assortment of items available from simple snacks and convenient sundries like toothbrushes to useful tools, miscellaneous curated gifts, Race Brook T-Shirts and mugs, local delicacies including locally roasted Six Depot coffee beans AND exclusive Larimar jewelry imported from The Dominican Republic. Some items are on display on the shelves at the entrance to the Pine Grove Porch. Just send us a text if you would like to purchase an item from our gift shop.
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES
We do not offer housekeeping or make up guest rooms during a stay. If you would like fresh linens or towels, please contact us using the chat feature on this page or text us at 413.258.8365. We will also collect any garbage or linens from outside your room upon request.
For longer stays, we now offer a limited laundry service. We will pick up laundry to be cleaned from outside your room between 10am and 5pm, and return it within 24 hours. Please place clothes that you would like washed in the designated laundry bag. Each bag will be processed as a single load. We will not separate laundry by color or any other criteria. Make sure the laundry tag is filled out with your personal info and preferred laundry settings. We will not fold laundry, but we will return it to you fresh out of the dryer. The cost is $10 per bag/load.

Come join us for the first four Wednesdays in May, 3-8pm, to experience the magic of Race Brook Lodge. Each session, led by Melanie “Poppins”, will be themed around incorporating elements of nature into our weekly theme craft, and will include programming with music, movement, and storytelling.
