CURA CURA is a Rock-Soul-Medicine show simultaneously churning the ethereal, tender, sweet and sad-taking audiences on an emotionally rich journey through darkness to light. The music in it’s essence is shadow work-when you go to a Cura Cura show you are invited all the way in. Beautiful harmonies and powerful vocal performances open the listener to feel the spectrum of their emotions and welcome them back to the wisdom of their heart. Their set lists seamlessly combine a mix of original and cover material, ranging from Leonard Cohen to Prince. This concert is part of a full weekend celebration of music.
Heather Fisch is an archetypal performance artist, magician and a certified hypnotist. Her performances include music, comedy and theater, which stem from her interest in human psychology, mysticism and gender studies. She is the founder of the Down County Social Club speakeasy at Race Brook Lodge/Stagecoach Tavern. On December 21st she will be performing as Mistress of Ceremonies, as well as with her new band, The Bleeding Femmes.
