Campfire & Creative Kids Club - Winter Session
WEDNESDAY CAMPFIRE AND CREATIVE KIDS CLUB- WINTER SESSION
The Campfire & Creative Kids Club is happening on Wednesdays at 8 weekly sessions from January 17th through March 6th. Melanie Willens, M.Ed will be leading activities for the kids, including arts & craft projects, campfire circle and songs and there will also be kid-friendly musical performances.
Parents can drop off their little ones anytime between 3-8pm and enjoy time at the Campfire, a late afternoon hike to the waterfall, or a relaxing dinner. Parents can also stay and participate in creative projects and hang out at the campfire with the kids. Kid-friendly food options, Hot Coco and S’mores will be available for kids and The Stagecoach Tavern restaurant is also open for adults to enjoy a quiet dinner nearby. Food for kids is available from 4pm, and the tavern menu is available for adults from 5-8pm.
Schedule:
3-5pm: Arrival, Kid’s food, Freestyle Creative Projects
5-6pm: Collaborative Creative Project or specific presentation by a visiting collaborator
6-8pm: Playtime and/or interactive performance in the barn
Melanie Willins, M.Ed is a Child Development Specialist from the Boston area who has been working with children for 20 years. She is an educator who loves fostering children's curiosity and creativity, with a focus on social and emotional well-being.
She has a research-based Masters in Educational Psychology and supports families, schools, and organizations through her business, Melanie Poppins Consulting.
DROP-OFF CREATIVE KIDS CLUB & CHILD CARE PRICES
$25 for each child each session or $40 for 2 kids (3+ years old) per session (Good for 3-8pm)
$100 per child or $150 for 2 kids for the whole series (up to 8 sessions).
Sliding scale donation ($5-20) for younger kids or kids with their parents present who will not need child care.
