We have converted the Stagecoach Tavern into almost ALL PRIVATE DINING ROOMS. Call to book a specific room or make your reservation on Open Table and we’ll find a cozy spot for you and your pod, Minimum table sizes apply for some of the rooms on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Stagecoach Tavern at Race Brook Lodge dates back to the mid 18th century. The candlelit Tavern boasts hand-hewn beams and wide-plank floors spanning multiple levels. It has been a warm and convivial gathering spot for friends, families, and lovers for almost 200 years. Cozy up by our roaring fire in winter months or in the summer relax with a drink under the stars in our courtyard.

Enjoy live music in our intimate speakeasy performance space, The Down County Social Club (see schedule). The Stagecoach Tavern is now open all day on Saturdays and Sundays from brunch, straight through dinner. Stop by for a drink or a snack anytime in our historic tavern, warm up by the fire after an afternoon hike, or take advantage of the free wifi in “Shays Lounge” to catch up on your work with a glass of hot cider. If you don’t want to drive home offer overnight packages including dinner, including a room and breakfast at Race Brook Lodge.

Dear Guests, At The Stagecoach Tavern, gratuity is not obligatory. We pay our staff a living wage. It is not the customer’s responsibility to compensate our staff, nor should the staff be dependent on the customer’s generosity. You are welcome to leave an additional gratuity but don’t feel pressured.
