Dan Strauss and Clare Byrne are singer/songwriters who will bring their unique music together for a special night at DCSC on October 12. Dan, from Brooklyn, NY, writes songs that move in and out of alt-country and indie-folk with an intimate vocal style and rich melodies. Clare, from New Haven, CT, blends sweet folk rock, blues and gospel in acoustic/electric mixes. Healing and spacious vocal harmonies come together with incisive lyrics and syncopated rhythms.
Dan and Clare met while touring in Vermont and have been performing together throughout the Northeast and Ireland for the past several years.
