Clarinetist Paul Green's career spans jazz, classical music, and klezmer. He was the co-director of "A Summer Celebration of Jewish Music" which presented a wide variety of Jewish music throughout the Berkshires until 2017. He performs jazz and klezmer music widely throughout Western Massachusetts and the Capitol District of New York, appearing at Barrington Stage, the Colonial Theatre, the Saratoga Performing Arts Festival, the Gateways Inn, and the Red Lion Inn, among other venues. He is an active teacher as well, and a member of the faculties of Williams College, Skidmore College, Schenectady Community College, and the Berkshire Music School.
As director of the band "Two Worlds", he has actively engaged in fusing the genres of Jazz and Klezmer music. "Two Worlds"' first recording, "Music Coming Together", garnered rave reviews from several jazz publications including the prestigious "Jazz Times". The grounds second recording, "A Bissel Rhythm", entirely of Paul's original compositions, was released in February 2019, on the Big Round Label from PARMA Recordings, Inc.
