John Snyder will perform at Down County Social Club on Thursday, April 17th.
Snyder’s performances are on the edge of wild free-form musical imagination. His improvisatory sound art brings into play electrifying noise generation, sound projectors, tape machines, loopers, and atmospheric electric guitar work. The performance is as much a daring session of experimental music as it is an emotionally driven work, resembling an epic poem in his deliberate and weaving pace.
Experimental artist, John Snyder, has been living and performing in the Berkshires for 20+ years. His sound art and electric guitar work has been widely appreciated here as well as in Sweden where he lives half the year.
