Garth Stevenson invites us back into the woods again for what is an Almost Spring ceremony of sorts — a musical re-wilding, re-earthing, and re-connecting with nature, stillness, and spirit. We will hike up the trail from the barn, leaving at 1PM, to a specially-selected site with a speaker array. Garth will perform a mostly improvised set of music for you. Be prepared for about 15-20 minutes of trail-hiking. Bundle up, and bring something warm to sit on/in like a yoga mat or sleeping bag. We'll be back at the barn by 3PM.
If the weather is not conducive to an outdoor experience, Garth will perform in the Barn.

Garth’s approach to composition is a kind of musical rewilding — nature is the primary inspiration for his minimalist ouvre, and his three full-length solo albums are informed by his experiences carrying his 150-year-old double bass to the woods, beach, desert and other remote locations including Antarctica and Tuva.
