Race Brook Lodge presents a special program of wellness offerings, musical events and community activities for the Independence Day holiday weekend. Offerings range from yoga to a special Acupuncture Sound Meditation Experience, Forest Bathing excursion, and an Introduction to Ayurveda workshop with a special Ayurvedic meal! Ayurvedic Practitioner Cory Tixier will be on-site, offering a variety of healing services in the ancient tradition of Ayurveda. Cory is available for private consultations, as well as therapeutic treatments such as, Shirodara, Abhyanga & Netra Basti sessions. Cory is a NAMA Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Therapist. She provides clients with personalized health guidance and Ayurvedic treatments. She also hosts Ayurvedic workshops and Teacher Trainings in New York, Hawaii and India. Most recently, Cory served as the Lead Clinical Supervisor, and assistant to Dr. Vasant Lad at his Panchakarma facility in Pune where she personally developed and oversaw their world renowned Therapist Training Program.
