An empowering 75-minute yoga class employing the wisdom of Ayurveda, with Cory Tixier.
According to Ayurvedic Medicine, Dosha are the body’s psychological and physiological governing principles. They act as a buffer from external factories maintaining homeostasis. Through diet, lifestyle and relationship they can become aggravated, resulting in disease. Their balance is key to optimal health and longevity. Yoga helps to balance the Dosha by moving excess Dosha back to their “home” sites. Yoga opens and clears channels allowing them (the Dosha) to move with in the systems un restricted. Yoga brings about a state of awareness which allows for the Dosha to also have awareness and clarity on their specific tasks. In short Yoga helps the Dosha to function at their most optimal capacity.
