Jill Peacock is a Canadian soul singer and keys player born and raised in Toronto. She released her self titled debut EP in 2017 with fellow Berklee alum Yuki Kanesaka producing. Jill’s music is groove based nu soul that has echoes of trip hop and classic UK soul. Since her EP release in 2017 on the Do Right label, she has been featured on CBC’s Here and Now, Gilles Peterson’s BBC radio show and has opened for Moonchild, the Souljazz Orchestra. She has also played in the TD Jazz Festival 2017 and the Hamilton Tall Ships festival for Canada’s 150th celebration. She is currently based in Brooklyn and is now working on her next EP.
