Race Brook Lodge is not just for weekends. It's a great place to go to get away from the hectic city, even in the middle of the week! We have a special offer for your if you want to come for an extended midweek stay: book 3 or more nights starting on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday and receive a 30% discount on your stay. Some restrictions may apply.

This package is perfect for folks working remotely, looking for a quiet and scenic nature locale for inspiration. It’s also a wonderful choice for a simple and spontaneous getaway.

For specials and packages, we require a 100% advance deposit. Deposits are non-refundable, but if you need cancel with more than 48 hours notice we will issue a credit towards a future stay in the amount of your deposit, less a $25 cancellation fee per room.

Package not for applicable for Sunday, Sept. 5th or Sunday, Oct. 10th. The Mondays following these dates are still available for booking the Midweek Retreat.

The Main Lodge
The Main Lodge

Our rooms are carved out of a 19th century barns and a Federal style mansion, with other cottages and cabins. Continental breakfast is included. Hiking trails start right here on the property and extend up to the Race Brook Falls, Mount Everett, Mount Race and beyond. You can continue on the Appalachian Trail... all the way to Georgia, or north to Maine!

The Race Brook is a soothing presence, babbling right through the center of our property. Enjoy the sound of the brook from a hammock in the shade or spread out a blanket for a picnic on the lawn. Also enjoy volleyball and lawn games. In the summer, sometimes the brook dries up temporarily, allowing for adventures and scavenger hunts in the riverbed.

At The Stagecoach Tavern, visionary chef Laurel Barkan uses local ingredients whenever possible to create original interpretations of both traditional and exotic dishes. The Stagecoach is best known for it’s atmosphere, as diners revel in history of the centuries-old candlelit tavern.
